Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival (no meals)
Be picked up from Noi Bai airport (no guide) then transfer to your hotel in Hanoi old quarter areas.
Rest of time is free at leisure for your own discovery the local life of Hanoi people.

Day 2: Hanoi- Halong bay - overnight on Junk, guide on board (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel.
08.00: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta on shuttle bus
10.00: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break
12.00: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf – Break and photography time
12.30: Board Glory Cruises for departure. Welcome drink will be served
13.00: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay
15.30: Visit exciting Cua Van fishing village. The village is free of busy roads and streets, electric lights, houses and high rise buildings. Instead, there are only herds of little boats and rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen.
16.30: Enjoy kayaking or swimming (if the weather permits).
17.00: Back on board and continue cruising to Drum Cave (Hang Trong) to dock.
19.00: Dinner is served.
21.00: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing.

Day 3 : Halong Glory Cruise - Hanoi, guide on board, no escort guide back Hanoi (Brunch) - night train to Laocai/Sapa

08.15: Visit splendid Sung Sot Cave
09.00: Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay, passing Dinh Huong Island, fishing villages, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.
09.30: Buffet brunch while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier
11.30: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew.
12.00: Return from Halong to Hanoi on shuttle bus
14.00: Stop over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.
16.00: Arrive in Hanoi and drop off at your hotel. Rest of time is free at leisure. (late check out at hotel excluded)
In the evening: 20.00 PM own arrangement your transfer by taxi from your hotel to Hanoi train station. Pls make sure the boarding place of your train, is it at main gate or station B? There has 2 gates of Hanoi Train Station.

Take the night train to Lao Cai, tourist carriage, soft sleeper, 4-berths sharing compartment.
Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat village ( B, L, D)
Early morning: arrives at LaoCai train station.
Get the pick-up from Lao Cai Train station and then take a shuttle bus drive of 40 km to Sapa.
As you arrive, our tour guide will meet you at local restaurant and you will get the tour itinerary reconfirmed by our guide. The guide will help you to explore Sapa town & take you to Cat Cat village. We depart out of the hotel and pass through the market to the sealed pathways to Cat Cat. This twisty beautiful vista road leads you to stairs where we descend to the centre of the village of Black H’mong tribe and keeping going down to the Cat Cat waterfall. There is an old hydro- power station that is still in use from Colonial French time and in warmer weather, a swim in the small river is possible. We walk along by the river and follow the sealed road back up to our hotel.
Dinner is in the hotel restaurant again.

Day 5: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Chai/ TaVan village - Lao Cai – night train back Hanoi (B, L, D)
Get up in the morning for breakfast and check out the hotel room, your bags will be put in the hotel luggage store again.
We start the trip at 9 Am with the guide. We will walk about 15 kilometers, visit three different villages belonging to the Black H’Mong , Dzay and Red Dzao people. We guide you along waterfalls, rice fields and a small river in a lush valley with sweeping landscapes. This tour has the option of lunch in a minority home or pack lunch from the hotel at a picturesque location. We will get the pick up by van/ bus after visiting the last village.
Our bus will pick you up at the hotel for the night train back to Hanoi ( time is at 4:30 Pm or 6:00 Pm, depending on your train time and your wishes).
Arrive at Lao Cai train station. Enjoy your night train back Hanoi, tourist carriage, soft sleeper, 4-berths sharing compartment. Overnight train.
Day 6: Hanoi - joint full day visit - fly to Hue (B, L)
You will arrive in Hanoi Station next early morning. Own arrangement taxi for transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

8.00: We pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi old quarter areas and take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho. Then we visit the President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. You’ll also go to the Ho Chi Minh Museum where you can learn about this remarkable man and what he did for Vietnam and the region.
Next, you’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake.
After that you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the Shore of West Lake. From there you’ll go to the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.
Alternatively you can choose to have lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter. Afterwards you’ll walk through the Old Quarter where you’ll get a sense of the daily life of this busy city on your way to Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart and soul of Hanoi. This is the part of town where the commercial streets of modern Hanoi meet the ancient 36 streets and numerous alleys amongst temples, pagodas and lakes.
Finally you’ll stop at Museum of Ethnology. This superb museum showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays and dioramas are labeled in Vietnamese, French and English. Displays portray a typical village market, the making of comical hats and a Tay shamanic ceremony, videos show the real thing. You can also check out a traditional Black Thai house reconstructed in the museum. There’s also a centre for research and conservation where scientists from all over the world study traditional Vietnamese cultures.

Day 7: Hue – Full day visits (B, L)
Today you will spend a full day in Hue, the former capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty of emperors from 1802 till 1945. After breakfast start a scenic boat trip upstream the Perfume River on board a dragon boat to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's most preserved religious monument standing on the riverbank with its seven- floor tower. Then visit to the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen emperors once ruled Vietnam. You will further visit King Tu Duc's tomb and King Minh Mang tomb (typical formal oriental style designed). Overnight at standard 2* hotel in Hue.
Day 8: Hue- My Son- Hoi An (B)
Early morning, after breakfast your journey will bring you to Hoi An via Danang. You first visit the Cham Museum in Danang. Built in 1915 this museum displays an intensive and diverse collection of Champa sculptures dating from the 7th to the 15th centuries. It now has nearly 2000 large and small sculptures. Of these, 288 are on display inside the museum, 187 objects in the garden and more than 1.200 objects are reserved in the storehouse. Most of the sculptures in the museum are original and mainly of three kinds of materials, including sandstone, terracotta and bronze. It is a good introduction before you visit the site of My Son - one of the most stunning sights in the Hoi An area, Vietnam's most important Cham site, and as of 2000 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk a short distance for a short jeep ride up the mountain to the site. Then walk again, using several bamboo bridges (they call them monkey bridges, BUT EASY TO WALK ON - ALSO FOR SENIORS OK!) to get into the Cham site itself. Today, the temples and their towers are in ruin, vegetation is growing unimpeded, Sanskrit stelae are all about, and numerous lingam are visible. During the centuries when Tra Kieu (the known as Simhapura) served as the political capital of Champa, My Son was the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious centre, and also may has served as burial place for Cham monarchs. My Son is considered to be Champa's counterpart to the grand city of South-East Asia's other Indian-influence civilisation: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Myanmar), Ayuthaya (Thailand) and Borobudur (Java). You continue your journey to Hoi An and have a late lunch snack. Enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town center and take in the former merchants' houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market with its stalls brimming with tropical specialties. Whoever is still fit can explore this charming small town on their own or with the guide. Just let the guide know! You can also order tailor made cloths which will be ready later at night (around 9 pm) for fitting and then will be ready next morning.

Day 9: Hoi An- free time - Fly to Saigon (B)
Relax in Hoi An and wait for your transfer (no guide) to Danang airport for the evening flight to Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon- joint full day city (B, L)
Be picked up at your hotel in Saigon.
08:00AM to noon time: morning sightseeing for exploring the great atmosphere around of lively China town. Get into the rythm of this busiest and colourful scenes of Binh Tay market and Thien Hau Temple in the morning. We then visit the War Remnants Museum. Return to meeting point.
13:30PM to 16:30PM: afternoon sightseeing for visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue seeing some impressive French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. After visiting XQ embroidery workshop. take a break-time at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sales.
Return to your hotel in Saigon.

Day 11: Saigon - joint Cu Chi Tunnels - Cao Dai religion (B, L)
07:00-07:30AM: Pick up from your hotel (in dist.1 or dist.3 areas) in Saigon.
In the morning admire the colorful daily service and afternoon experience the Cu Chi tunnels
The Great holy See temple, built in 1926, is considered one of the most striking structures in all of Asia. It is the headquarter of Caodaism, a religion with colorful mix of Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism. Visitors will attend the noo prayer session to witness the daily mass held by the Cao Dai followers, which is a great experience. After lunch, visitors will go to the Cu chi tunnels.
Located 60km from Hochimnh city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).
Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, When Cu Chi was " A Free Target Zone ". The remnants visitors will see, show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants. Return to Saigon around 17.00 PM or 18.00 PM. Drop off at your hotel.

Day 12: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)
07:45 am Pick up at your hotel (in dist 1 & dis 3 areas) in Saigon.
Depart for My Tho. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda and then take a boat ride along the river , view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise island and have lunch in the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks ,After trekking through the fruit plantation ,village. Proceed to Can Tho via Vinh Long. Check in on arriving.

Day 13: Can Tho – Cai Rang – Sai Gon (B)
After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market with the busy sence right at the time. Keep cruising through the small chanels system, visit the rice noodles making village. Experience the " monkey Bridge " in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break time for lunch, lunch on your own arrangement. Return to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 14: Saigon - departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free time at leisure till transfer to Saigon airport for your departure flight back home.
